We are looking for an experienced Sustainability Coordinator, who will primarily support the Sustainability & Legacy Manager to implement and maintain a sustainable events management system in accordance with the International Standard ISO 20121, and to coordinate a legacy portfolio to fully realise the benefits and opportunities associated with the Birmingham 2022 Games.
The overall objective of thе assignment is to design and implement a series of creative events (up to four in total) contributing to the awareness raising of climate change risks, vulnerabilities and adaption to climate change impacts.. The events should be designed and planned to reach diverse target audiences, which may cover media representatives, youth, state policy/decision makers, NGOs, general public.
The purpose of the role will be to review key suppliers defined by spend and to critique the suppliers against an agreed industry best practice. You will also make recommendations for ongoing review and improvement plans by supplier.
The Sustainability Co-Ordinator is responsible for supporting the Head of Sustainability UK & Ireland in developing, implementing, monitoring and measuring a comprehensive sustainability program that incorporates sustainability into all aspects of the operations.
