Communications & Advocacy Manager
Julie’s Bicycle is looking for an exceptional Communications and Advocacy Manager to develop and deliver an inspirational and high impact communications strategy, in collaboration with our CEO and MD. Working closely with the CEO, Board and wider team, this is a critical role suitable for an ambitious individual who recognises the climate and ecological crisis and that harnessing the power and influence of the creative industries – especially arts and culture – can make an exceptional contribution to this monumental global challenge.
The Communications and Advocacy Manager is a new role responsible for the management and creative development of Julie’s Bicycle’s communication strategies which strengthen our vision, purpose and brand. The postholder will be responsible for developing online and offline content, and methods through which to communicate our work and reinforce our strong reputation. The role involves addressing a wide range of external audiences, and existing and potential supporters, partners, and clients. This person will represent the full range of Julie’s Bicycle’s work and position our vision for the organisation and the sector, strengthening and amplifying both.

Location: Somerset House, London
Salary: £32,000 p/a
Reporting to: Managing Director
Start date: ASAP
Normal hours: Office hours are 9.30am – 5.30pm, Monday – Friday
Other: Annual leave is 25 days plus standard bank holidays
All employees are able to claim 1 hour a week for personal wellbeing
