Legacy organised a successful online conference alongside our partners SE-2, with morning plenary sessions, afternoon breakout sessions across 6 different conference topic areas, side events hosted by partners and evening networking.
The Industrial Efficiency 2020 conference explored current and emerging trends in industry, such as new business models, digitalisation, industry 4.0, the circular economy and resource efficiency, and discussed the significance of these trends for delivering decarbonisation. The multiple benefits of energy efficiency were of particular interest.
The event was due to take place in Sweden in September 2020, but was moved online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Legacy organised a successful online conference alongside our partners SE-2, with morning plenary sessions, afternoon breakout sessions across 6 different conference topic areas, side events hosted by partners and evening networking. The conference had around 200 participants from 25 countries, with about 30% of these from research and academia, 25% from various levels of government or intergovernmental organisations, 5% from the NGO sector and the rest from the private sector.
