WINN is the Worcestershire Innovation Programme formed by Worcestershire County Council and the Worcestershire LEP, alongside partners such as Worcester University, HW Chamber of Commerce, Central Technology Belt, Malvern Hills Science Park and Malvern Instruments. We assisted WINN with marketing promotional support in advance of the June 2019 Great Things event. Our brief was to attract the broadest possible audience across all innovation communities in Worcestershire. Legacy created a full marketing strategy encompassing outreach to traditional media (for example, press releases, local newspapers) and social media marketing. We re-organised the event website to optimise for SEO and attract more traffic, using appealing colours and UX design. We also created bespoke images to encourage attendees to sign up to the workshops.
Legacy were particularly keen on attracting attendees from WINN’s main sectors of MedTech, Cyber, Advanced Manufacturing and AgriTech, as part of our engagement with the WINN community.
