We help organisations plan and deliver events that reflect their values, without adding unnecessary complexity.
Abena’s background is in sustainability rather than events. Early in her career as a Space Scientist, she saw first-hand the effects of rising emissions on planetary systems and the urgency of changing course.
After more than 15 years working across architecture, engineering and social organisations, a recurring frustration became clear. Events organised by values-led organisations often failed to reflect those values in practice.
Legacy was founded to bridge that gap.

Sustainability and science, working within complex systems
Values-led organisations, events that did not reflect them
A practical response to a persistent gap
Supporting organisations to make better decisions, calmly and clearly
Sustainability works best when it is practical
Good decisions come from understanding constraints
Clarity builds confidence
Long-term relationships matter more than quick wins
These beliefs shape how we work day to day, from early conversations through to delivery.
From single-location conferences to multi-country programmes, we support events around the world with local insight and consistent standards.
Legacy is shaped by a close-knit team of event professionals who care deeply about how events are planned, delivered and experienced.
We bring different perspectives and disciplines together, but share the same focus: doing thoughtful, practical work that stands up in the real world.

Whether you’re exploring a role or a collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.
We work with a small group of partners whose expertise complements our own. These relationships allow us to bring together the right skills when projects need deeper specialism, whether that’s carbon measurement, materials, technology or sustainability standards.
Each partner is chosen for their credibility, practical approach and shared commitment to doing things properly.
Sustainability is part of how we think, not something we add on at the end. We focus on making informed decisions that work in practice, taking account of real-world constraints such as budgets, timelines and delivery complexity. Where there are trade-offs, we are clear about them, and we work with clients to find approaches that are responsible, realistic and aligned with what they are trying to achieve.

If you’re planning an event and would like to discuss the options, we’re happy to have an initial conversation.
